Tim & Lorie Gardner

"Scott and his team are beyond professional, they truly care about making your home more efficient, and ultimately a healthier place to live. We searched for months for a company that could answer our questions about the advantages of investing in a crawlspace. Scott was the ONLY person who could give scientific explanations of why and how he and his team could help us lower our electric bills AND improve our quality of life -- as we suffer from allergies and asthma. In fact, we now refer to him as “Dr. Scott”. Within in a day after our new crawlspace was installed, we slept through the night without coughing, sneezing. And we should mention that our crawlspace was less than 12 inches high in some places! Very tight squeeze. Today, our new crawlspace is so clean we have found ourselves showing it off to visiting friends and family. Seriously. And the hygrometer? It's an electronic device that monitors the temp and humidity under your house, allowing you to know immediately if there’s a water issue, HVAC problem etc. — possibly the best house bling ever. We highly recommend Crawlspace Concepts. Thanks to Dr. Scott, we now appreciate our 102 year old historic home again!"

"Very informative and one of the most pleasant people to talk to. They made sure that i knew exactly the process of what was happening and why things were done the way they were."

"Scott (owner) is crazy about crawlspaces. He knows everything there is to know, a lot of which is very scientific and technical, and I felt very comfortable putting my crawlspace in his hands. Upon his initial visit he confirmed that I had very high moisture levels in my crawlspace (during the summer it sits at 99% relative humidity) and was able to rule out groundwater, bulk water, and overhead intrusion, and identify the problem being related to temperature change. When the outside hot air enters my cooler crawlspace, the water in the air condenses and the humidity sky rockets. This was the cause of my 40%+ wood moisture content levels (very very bad). Scott recommended a sealed crawlspace with a new vapor barrier, completely sealing off all foundation vents, a new insulated entry door, and a dehumidifier. We scheduled the service for 2 weeks later. They came this week and got the work done in a few hours. Scott's crew was very quick and left my garage (where entry door is located) even cleaner than when they arrived, including blowing it out and cleaning up some of the trash that I had around the area. Once the electrician got the dehumidifier wired up, my relative humidity levels in the crawlspace dropped from 99% to 60% in the first 24 hours!!! The last couple of days it has actually been 1-2 degrees cooler and 2-3% less humid in the crawlspace than it is in the house with outside temperatures in the mid 80s. I did a full "crawl-around" inspection of the work and the new vapor barrier was cut precisely around all piers and properly taped and sealed along all seams. Every crack/hole/gap in the foundation was sealed up and it's now INCREDIBLY clean down there...I even got my wife to crawl in and check it out, something she would NEVER have done before. The custom-made entry door seals extremely well with a latch on both sides and I love that they placed 20 mil sheeting right in front of the entry door as opposed to the 10 mil everywhere else since it will get the most foot (knee) traffic. Scott even replaced my broken light bulb in the crawl space for me (had to flip the breaker and unscrew the nub that was left after I bashed it with my foot). Overall I couldn't be any happier with the experience. Scott and his crew got the job done when they said they would, for the amount we agreed upon, and it was done better than I could have hoped for. I have already recommended Crawlspace Concepts to my neighbor and a co-worker. Give Scott a call and you won't be disappointed!!!"
